Is an online d6 as fair as a real one?
Fairer, usually. Cheap plastic dice with drilled pips are slightly unbalanced. RollPick uses your browser's cryptographic random generator with rejection sampling, so each face has exactly a 1 in 6 chance.
Why do opposite sides of a die add to 7?
It is a long-standing manufacturing convention that spreads high and low numbers evenly around the cube. Casino dice and most game dice follow it.
