Yes or no is a coin flip with better labels, so it works the same way: every ask is independent, and a run of five "no" answers doesn't make a "yes" more likely next time. For more than three options, list them in the list randomizer or roll a die with that many sides in the dice roller (type d5 or d7; any size from 2 to 1000 works).

Is the yes or no generator 50/50?
Yes. With two answers each has exactly a 50% chance; add "Maybe" and each of the three has one in three. Results come from your browser's cryptographic random generator.
Should I really let this decide for me?
For small, reversible things like what to cook or which film to watch, sure. For anything bigger, use it as a gut check: notice whether you felt relief or disappointment at the answer.
